On good form

“I had a pretty clear idea what I wanted, so it was a joy and an education to work with Antman, who held my hand throughout the process.” Simon Hitchens, sculptor

Simon wanted to ensure he was the ‘go-to option’ for the next public sculpture commission by corporations and councils. His brief to Antman was to design and produce a book about his work and approach that could be scanned and ‘got’ in a five-second flick or studied in greater depth. Antman worked with Simon on design layout, choice of stock, text, image commissioning and selection. “There’s something gorgeous about the book’s rubberised covers which makes you want to keep hold of it,” the sculptor said.
