Public Lending Right needed to make evident to their masters in government the value that the writing ‘industry’ has to the creative economy and the cultural life of the country. Antman used documentary photography to make manifest this relationship. The ‘Library Bus’ story, below, was used to illustrate an annual report and showed both the reach of the written word and diversity of those who seek and benefit from it. Others included ‘Modern Libraries’, ‘A Day in the Life’ [of a Writer] and ‘The PLR Story’.
